“Three consecutive nominations for "Station of the Year" highlight our remarkable consistency. It's an honour to broadcast on our beautiful Island and celebrate our team's fantastic accomplishments.

"Regardless of the outcome in Newcastle, our standing in the radio industry speaks volumes about our dedication and effectiveness, we must be doing something right!"

Fellow Director, Kelvin Currie, added:

"This is wonderful news, a testament to the hard work and dedication not only of the station management team, but to the presenters who keep our output fresh every day.

"Good luck to all the nominees and we'll see you in Newcastle."
