Take Your Seats For Needles Christmas Drive-In Cinema

Wessex Cancer Support’s Drive-In Cinema returns to the Needles Landmark Attraction on Saturday and Sunday (2-3) December.

At £22 per car, visitors will be raising vital funds to support Islanders affected by cancer.

A giant 9m x 5m LED screen means you won’t miss a thing and the film will play through your own car radio or any radio device you bring along.

There will be hot food available, or you can bring your own snacks if you prefer.

There are six films available over the weekend:

Saturday December 2: How The Grinch Stole Christmas  (PG), Last Christmas (12A), Bad Santa (15)

Sunday December 3: Frozen (PG), It’s A Wonderful Life (PG), Office Christmas Party (15)

Laura Haytack, Wessex Cancer Support's Regional Fundraising Manager, said:

“Our Drive-In Cinema has become a tradition for families on the Island and is a great way to kick-off the festive season.

"So, grab your comfies and cosy up with your loved ones, watch a classic Christmas film and know that you’re raising money to support Islanders affected by cancer.

"We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to this festive favourite.”

This year’s event is sponsored by Island-based software companies WRS Systems and ICR Touch.

All the money raised will be used to provide emotional and wellbeing support to Islanders affected by cancer.

More information and tickets are available online.
