Ryde's Sugar And Spice Lingerie Wins National Best Shop Award

A popular fashion store in Ryde has won a national best shop award.

Sugar & Spice Lingerie was recognised at a ceremony organised by Stars Underlines, held annually and often labelled 'The Oscars' of the lingerie industry.

The prestigious event was held in London on November 16.

Shops of all sizes from independents to major chains across the UK and Ireland selling lingerie, nightwear, swimwear and hosiery are nominated by their brands within the sector.

Sugar & Spice has reached the finals on several occasions, and declared itself delighted to have picked up the Editors Choice award on this occasion.

The company was picked out of a large field for its customer care, dynamism and resilience in what is a challenging business sector.

Owner, Sheila Wilson, said:

“We are absolutely delighted to have picked up this award in our 15th year of trading.

"To be recognised by the industry is fantastic, but we couldn’t do it without our lovely, loyal customers.

"We are also pleased to put Ryde and the Island on the map”
