Ryde School is celebrating another year of successful GCSE results.
More than one in five GCSE results were a grade 9 or 8 and, in line with last year’s excellent results, almost four in every ten grades was at 9, 8 or 7.

Over a third of pupils achieved five or more GCSEs at grade 7 or higher and over half of pupils achieved five or more GCSEs at grade 6 or higher.
Highlights from the results include:
- Oscar H achieved seven GCSEs at grade 9 and two at grade 8
- Nicholas L attained six GCSEs at grade 9 and three at grade 8 and Daralis R achieved six GCSEs at grade 9 and two at grade 8
- Daisy E, Isaac G, Oliver H, Charlotte W and Harry W all achieved six or more grades 9 or 8 in their subjects.

"Another year of excellent results is a reflection of our pupils’ ambition and the responsibility they take for their own achievements.

"We are all delighted to see such impressive results today following on from the strong A Level and IB results our Upper Sixth achieved.”
