Young children are being invited to hear tales of Mojo the Friendly Robot tomorrow (Saturday)
From 11am Medina Bookshop in Cowes will be covering its floor in cushions ready for an audience of under 7s as first-time author Gareth Wokes reads from a selection of his new series of books.
These delightful tales follow Mojo as he travels on his spaceship on various adventures: to the seaside, with the tooth fairy and meeting Woof the dog.
Illustrated by exquisite Island based artist Zoe Sadler, its hoped that kids of all ages will be charmed by these lovely little books.
Gareth says:
"My enthusiasm for writing children’s stories stems from the enormous pleasure I derived from reading bed-time stories to my own children.
"The nightly routine gave me quality time with my children and an opportunity to unwind after a busy day at the office.
"I hope these books help other parents to experience the same."
