Rainy Day Delights At Newport's Orchard House Care Home

Residents at Newport's Orchard House Care Home embraced the rainy weather by enjoying a day filled with engaging activities.

Despite the downpour, spirits were high as they gathered to enjoy indoor pastimes.

Auntie G, a beloved member of the Orchard House community, captivated everyone with yet another fantastic storytelling session.

Her tales transported residents to different worlds, providing a delightful escape from the rain-soaked day.

To add a touch of excitement, residents also indulged in a lively round of bingo.

Laughter and camaraderie filled the room as numbers were called out, creating an atmosphere of joy and entertainment.

"Rain or shine, we believe in creating memorable moments for our residents," remarked Katie Schlepp Head of lifestyle at Orchard House.

"Today's activities were a testament to the vibrant community spirit at Orchard House Care Home."

The care home continues to prioritise a diverse range of activities to ensure residents' well-being and engagement.
