The judges for this month's Wight Noize final have been announced.
The finalists will perform in front an experienced panel of music industry professionals, with the winning act opening the Isle of Wight Festival Main Stage on Sunday.
The judges will be:
Jess Eastwood
The scintillating frontwoman of four-piece indie rock band Coach Party, who recently supported rock royalty Queens of The Stone Age.
Richard Hannan
Director of the acclaimed independent record label, Big Indie. His multifaceted role encompasses music publishing, artist management, live events, and editorial contributions to LICKS Magazine.
Julian Emery
Songwriter and producer who started his career as a session guitarist, supporting acts such as Enrique Iglesias, Atomic Kitten, Kym Marsh, Blue and Annie Lennox, subsequently gaining writing and production credits on records by McFly, Lissie, and Nothing But Thieves.
Gavin Barnard
Chief Relations Officer at music industry platform Amplead who is also a mentor at Help Musicians and Ivor’s Academy, sits on the steering panel of Vison 2025 and is the Vice Chair of SCEF (South Coast Events Forum).
Luke Jeffries
Platform One Alumni and drummer in the band Fours, Luke is an A&R and scout for ASONGS Music Publishing, an independent company based in London.
Jim and Rob Homes
The Empire Sound brothers, who often operate professionally under the name Boe Weaver, have worked with an array of talented artists including Rhys Lewis, Wolf People, The Archie Bronson Outfit, 77:78, Whyte Horses, Pete Molinari, Swan Levitt and Jalen N Ghonda.
Claydon Connor
Co-founder and co-owner of Strings Bar & Venue. Since its opening in 2017 the venue has become an essential resource for both musicians and music fans.
The seven acts competing to win were announced last week.
