Residents at Orchard House Care Home brought in Christmas with a day of magic - and even a visit from Santa.
The Christmas spirit really did arrive at the home in Newport - with residents gathering together to open their presents.
The visit from Father Christmas also proved popular and a special Christmas lunch was prepared the Home's chef, featuring turkey and all the trimmings. Christmas pudding with brandy sauce also made an appearance!
The team said:
"Father Christmas delighted residents with thoughtful gifts, creating a memorable atmosphere of festive cheer. The highlight of the day was witnessing the genuine happiness on the faces of our residents as they unwrapped their presents.
"Orchard House takes pride in fostering a vibrant and caring community, and today's events exemplified the spirit of generosity, joy, and shared moments. As we continue to celebrate this festive season, we extend warm wishes for a joyous and fulfilling holiday to all."
