Newport Care Home Spooktacular Treats Delighted Residents

Halloween at Newport's Orchard House Care Home was a remarkable and spooktacular event that left everyone with cherished memories.

Residents and staff came together for a day filled with joy, laughter, and entertainment.

Those involved played a Halloween quiz that tested their knowledge of all things spooky and mysterious.

Bingo enthusiasts had a thrilling time as they daubed their cards, hoping to shout "Bingo!"

Despite the delights of those high-octane events, it was the Halloween party that proved the highlight of the day.

The latter featured tap dancer, Maurice, whose performance had feet moving and hands applauding enthusiastically, with woops of joy audible.

But the fun didn't stop there!

The home's dedicated colleagues embraced the Halloween spirit by donning creative and amusing costumes.

From witches to superheroes, their costumes brought an extra dose of happiness to our residents' day.

The smiles and laughter were infectious, with the sense of community truly heartwarming.

"We are delighted to have celebrated Halloween with our beloved residents and our dedicated staff," said Katie Schlepp Head Of Lifestyle at Orchard House Care Home.

"It's moments like these that remind us of the strong bonds within our community.

"We look forward to many more celebrations and memories together."
