New Manager And Chef For Yarmouth's King's Head

After briefly changing hands in 2023, The King’s Head, Yarmouth will reopen its doors tomorrow (Friday) under its original ownership.

Now once again a family run establishment, The King’s Head team says it is looking forward to returning the pub to its cornerstone status - a welcoming and lively 16th century inn at the heart of Yarmouth town.

At the helm of The King’s Head is Ben Taylor, former manager of The Buddle Inn and a welcoming face behind the bar.

Ben will work alongside new Head Chef Jay Ford to deliver a quality pub experience for both locals and visitors.

Diners can expect a well curated menu with something for everyone, from hearty pub favourites like homemade pie of the week and mash, through to speciality seafood dishes such as pan fried hake with a brown shrimp bisque.

All dishes will be created from the best seasonal and local produce, served up just a stone’s throw from the sea.

Ben said:

"The team looks forward to welcoming patrons back to The King’s Head this weekend.

"It will be a chance to sample the tasty new menu, catch up with friends over a pint and once again enjoy live music and a great atmosphere every Friday and Saturday from 9pm."

The King’s Head is open daily from midday, and until late on Fridays and Saturdays.
