New Locally Designed Isle of Wight Pride Logo Revealed

Isle of Wight Pride has revealed its new look for 2024 - unveiling a new, locally designed, logo.

Organisers of the Isle of Wight's Pride Celebrations say the new logo will help to establish and develop the charity’s identity.

The logo, designed by Island designer Shaun Cuff, will be used on all future communications and merchandise.

The logo is based on a traditional stick of seaside rock, with the coloured stripes representing the different gender identities and sexual orientations many people now relate to.

Sarah Portwine, Chair of Trustees for Isle of Wight Pride said:

“We are delighted to launch a new logo that represents the diversity of the island's LGBTQIA+ community. Our plans for 2024 mean it will be an exciting year for Isle of Wight Pride.

"We will be returning to Harbour beach in Ryde for Pride weekend in July, with some fantastic headliners including the winner of RuPaul's Drag Race UK Season 5, Ginger Johnson.

"The LGBTQIA+ community continues to make positive advances on the island, and we will continue to develop our organisation to support and further these advances.

“Our new identity can be viewed on our updated website, along with updates for 2024 and ways to be involved with Isle of Wight Pride.”
