Local Author Celebrates Novel Release With Special Signing

Local author Kevin, owner of Heaton Wilson Books, is hosting an author talk and book signing to celebrate the release of his new seaside novel, The Waves of Change, later this month.

The Waves of Change is the first book in Kevin’s new series about the fictional seaside town of ‘Whistle Bay’. The novel follows the story of Sam Taverner, a young man desperate to fulfil the promise he made to his dying father, but his encounters with Lindsay, a larger-than-life artist from London, dramatically changes his course.

Kevin said:

“I’m excited to share my new novel with the people of the Isle of Wight.

“I hope The Waves of Change will transport readers to the beautiful shores of Whistle Bay and leave them feeling inspired and hopeful.”

Customers who attend the book signing will be able to buy The Waves of Change on the day and receive a signed copy. The first 6 customers will also receive a seaside-inspired book lovers’ goody bag.

The event will take place at the Waterstones branch in Newport on Saturday, August 19th from 11:00pm to 2pm.
