Eldridges Solicitors has announced Isle of Wight Youth Trust as its Charity of the Year for 2025.

The team at Eldridges will fundraise throughout the coming year to support this island-based charity, which empowers young people to face life’s challenges by providing youth-led wellbeing and therapeutic support to those who need it.

Jo Dare, CEO and Head of Counselling and Wellbeing at the Isle of Wight Youth Trust, said:

“We are delighted to be chosen by Eldridges as their Charity of the Year throughout 2025.

"Over recent years, the Youth Trust has expanded its offer to become the first place to turn to, for children and young people aged 5-25, for therapeutic, wellbeing and practical support such as housing and employment advice.

The support of local businesses is crucial in helping us raise the necessary funds to continue offering these vital services to our young people.”

Established in 1832, Eldridges has a long tradition of supporting charitable and good causes, which includes fundraising activities such as a skydive for Wessex Cancer, Walk the Wight and Go Yellow Day for Mountbatten.

Joni Ade, Associate Director at Eldridges who heads their fundraising, said:

“Eldridges has made donations to charities, and sponsored sports clubs for many years and will continue to do so.

"The Youth Trust offers invaluable services and support to children and young adults across the Island, and they are always looking for new ways to expand on the support and guidance they are able to offer our young people.

"We are very proud to be fundraising for this amazing charity.”
