A new website has been launched in advance of one of the Island's most popular annual artistic initiatives.

Isle of Wight Open Studios 2024 will run from Friday August 23 to Sunday September 8.

The Directors of the newly formed Community Interest Company (CIC) have announced the new website is open for artists to register, and for visitors to see what will be showcased during this Island-wide event.

The new website brings a fresh visual identity and enhanced accessibility, ensuring that artists and art enthusiasts alike have a platform to connect and celebrate creativity.

For 2024 Area Reps, artists themselves will be supporting local artists across five clusters across the Island, with each cluster promoting a sense of community.

Paul Windridge, Area Rep for West Wight who has a studio in the Freshwater Bay area, said:

“I believe the revival of Isle of Wight Open Studios will help encourage people to view the Island as a cultural destination, and I’m delighted to be involved.”

Jo Kori, an Island-born artist based in Ventnor and Area Rep for South and South-East Wight, added:

“I was immediately struck by the collaborative energy and enthusiasm of all the participating artists, which compelled me to ensure that my area of the Wight would be actively represented and involved.

"There is genuine care, experience and pragmatic decision-making behind the way this event is being organised across all Wight communities this year."

You can visit the new website for registration and further details here.
