Isle Access Expands Inclusive Activities With New Cycling Coordinator And Swimming Club

Isle Access has announced the appointment of Steve Wells as its dedicated Cycling Coordinator.

Steve will spearhead the charity’s accessible cycling ‘Isle Riders’ events, providing unique opportunities for individuals and groups to become active
members of the Isle Riders community.

These events are designed to include everyone, even those who cannot ride a traditional two-wheeled bike, ensuring that everyone can experience the joy of cycling.

For more information or to get involved, Steve can be reached at cycling@isleaccess.co.uk or 07784 655252.

Isle Access are also delighted to share that they have been selected as a recipient of the IW Randonee's charitable donations for the second consecutive year.

The generous £3,000 donation will be instrumental in establishing a new Cycling Club.

This club will create a welcoming environment where everyone can feel a sense of belonging and camaraderie.

In addition to our cycling initiatives, Isle Access is also now running a swimming club for disabled individuals.

Hosted at The Heights in Sandown every Saturday, this club offers a fantastic opportunity for participants to enjoy swimming in a supportive and accessible environment.

This is all thanks to WightAid and their generous donation of £2,000, which will allow Isle Access to use both pools starting from September 7.

This support is crucial in helping to provide these essential services to the Island community.

Isle Access remains committed to promoting inclusivity and accessibility in all their activities.

Everyone is invited to join them in these initiatives and help make a difference.
