Island Singer-Songwriter Ben Stubbs' Debut Album Set For Vinyl Release

An Isle of Wight singer-songwriter is releasing limited edition vinyl pressings of his much vaunted debut LP in time for Christmas.

Island singer-songwriter Ben Stubbs' debut album, Light of My Life, proved a popular release following a successful Kickstarter campaign to help fund the recording and production of the music.

Tuesday (December 12) will see a vinyl release almost a year to the day of that launch.

Ben said:

“It feels like a huge achievement for an independent artist like myself to release my music on the ultimate format.

"I’m massively grateful to such a hugely supportive fanbase for helping me hit that next big milestone.”

The LP is currently on display as part of the the Isle of Wight Vinyl Exhibition in Ryde.

Ben continued:

"There was never a solid plan to release on vinyl but since the CDs went so well and there were quite a lot of requests for it.

"The Island community has been incredibly supportive of this project from the start.

"This will be a limited edition run with only 200 available and once they’re gone, they’re gone, and the first 100 will be hand numbered and signed."

Those interested in purchasing a vinyl copy can grab one at Newport's AAA records upon release, or by emailing: bookings@benstubbsmusic.com.
