Island Fight League 3 Hit GG's Bar & Restaurant In Newport

Promoters Emily Tymon, Kalon Tymon and Connor Tymon held their third mixed martial arts event within 11-months, after being shortlisted for the Isle of Wight Radio Best in Business, for 'Top Event of the Year'.

IFL 3 saw bouts in MMA, Muay Thai, K1 and Submission-Only Grappling, including one Championship MMA bout.

UFC fighter John Hathaway was in attendance to corner his fighter Danny Baeza during his heavyweight MMA bout.

Bellator fighter Andy Manzolo was in attendance to assist his fighter Daniel Aluko in his K1 match.

Results from the fights

Corey Kent of Brotherhood MMA competed in a submission-only grappling match against Shaun Gould of City Fresh Grappling.

No submissions within the six-minute match meant that it ended in a draw.

Ryan Marshall, also of Brotherhood MMA, stepped into the cage for the second time, this time to face Dylan Parker of Juggernaut Muay Thai in a junior K1 bout.

Again the judges declared this a draw, with both young fighters getting their hands raised.

The main event of the evening was the Championship Featherweight MMA bout.

Jack Stickler of Gym01 touched gloves with Cole Marr of Olympians MMA ahead of a 5-round MMA bout.

Stickler took the win via third round armbar submission, filling the vacant spot of the Island Fight League Featherweight Champion.

Details for Island Fight League IV are expected shortly.
