The Phoenix Choir will be performing in Holy Trinity Church Bembridge on Saturday October 5 at 7.30pm and are delighted to support the above appeal.
Admission is free but there will be a retiring collection.
Michal MacInnes, Chairman of the Friends of Holy Trinity said:
“This is an important appeal as a portion of the masonry surrounding the tower has fallen away and needs urgent repair and there are now safety concerns.
"While the scaffolding is in place, the opportunity will be taken to repair and repoint other parts of the structure.
"The masonry problem is causing moisture to penetrate the inside of the tower which will require complete redecoration after the exterior has been made watertight.
"This will be an expensive but essential project.”
The choir will be singing from their wide-ranging repertoire of songs from musicals, films and other genres.
