Freshwater's Albion Hotel Named Among Times Cosiest UK List

Freshwater's Albion Hotel has been named one of the cosiest places to stay in the UK in a newly released Times list.

The Albion the tenth named accommodation from a list of 27.

Lucy Whittington, Albion Assistant General Manager, said:

“We set out 2 years ago to create the perfect environment in which to relax and take in the stunning coastal views.

"It is lovely to see from the many reviews and articles in the press, that we are well on the way to delivering our vision for this much-loved hotel and are looking forward to welcoming visitors to the island as well as local residents.”

The article waxes lyrical about the Freshwater venue, stating:

"The newly revamped Albion Hotel is perched over Freshwater Bay, allowing you to wave-watch from the comfort of its library and glass-fronted restaurant.

"The latter serves delicious locally caught moules marinières and seafood linguine.

"Bedrooms stay coastal-inspired, with marine colour schemes and sea views.

"Crack open the window and you can fall asleep to the sound of breakers too.

"For a different perspective, see the sea from a hike up nearby Tennyson Down."
