With the school Easter holidays now in their second week, parents running out of ideas to entertain the youngsters can still enjoy a family day out with free foot passenger travel for children with Wightlink’s Kids Go Free deal.
The offer will return during every school holiday throughout the year, with fresh sea air guaranteed.
Under-fives always go free on Wightlink ferries but when school’s out, up to two 5 to 15-year-olds can travel at no cost with every adult making the crossing.
Families from the mainland can stroll along the Isle of Wight’s many beaches or visit one of its great attractions, such as Tapnell Farm, The Needles or Blackgang Chine.
Islanders could choose a day out in the New Forest (via Lymington) or explore Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and nearby Gunwharf Quays or Spinnaker Tower.
