Fraud And Scam Event Coming To Ryde

Isle of Wight residents are being invited to a fraud and scam event in Ryde next month.

The event, which takes place on Friday December 8 from 10am to 1pm, is open for anyone to attend and drop in to.

Hosted by Barclays, you don't need to be a customer of the bank to attend.

A spokesperson for Isle of Wight Police said:

"Come (and) get some hints and tips on how to avoid and protect yourselves against fraud and scams.

"With Christmas coming up and internet shopping (this seems like a good time for the event)."
