Date And Plans Announced For Ventnor Christmas Community Day

Plans for Ventnor's annual Christmas Fayre have been confirmed.

This year's celebrations feature live music, a lantern parade, and carols in Ventnor Park – all taking place on Saturday December 16.

There are Christmas Fayres at St Catherine’s Church and at Ventnor Baptist Church.

The event at the church is raising funds for St Catherine’s School.

Ventnor Mayor, Steve Cooper, said:

"The Christmas events are a real highlight in the town’ s calendar. Its fabulous to see the community coming together to celebrate Christmas.

"Thanks to Ventnor Carnival Association, for their support in organising this event and to the generosity of Crave and Jody Berry – for the children’s gifts.

"Thanks this year to Steve Read, of IW Defibrillators, for stepping in to provide mince pies and mulled wine at Carols in the Park."
