A spokesperson for Orchard House said:

"We understand meal times can often be a lonely experience for older people, and we are committed to changing that.

"Starting next week, Orchard House Care Centre is inviting local seniors to join us for a nutritious lunch every Friday from 12pm to 2pm.

"We believe that sharing a meal is more than just nourishment; it’s an opportunity for connection and companionship. Christmas is coming “Don’t Dine Alone”
