An eco-friendly service will be returning for a fourth festive season after Christmas.
TDG Tree Services are offering to collect, chip and recycle real Christmas trees for Islander references on January 4 and 5 in return for donations to a local charity.
A spokesperson said:
"This year we will be supporting the Isle of Wight Foodbank.
"This vital Charity provides emergency food and support to local people who find themselves in crisis."
Island residents can fill out the form online to book their tree collections.
Visitors will also find important information there about collection dates for their area and how to donate via the company's Just Giving page.
We have limited availability – this has proven incredibly popular over previous years so we advise booking ASAP to avoid disappointment. We will close bookings on 22nd December 2023 or once we have reached capacity, whichever comes first.
A minimum donation of £7 per tree is required to utilise the service.
