Christmas Party And Local Charities Bring Joy To Newport Care Home

A Newport care home found itself filled to the brim with festive cheer this week, as kind visitors and an upbeat Christmas party has residents in high spirits.

Orchard House chef, Claire, served up special meals for residents to savour.

Staff transformed into snowmen, treating everyone to a spectacular dance performance.

The snow-making machine added the perfect winter touch, making it a festive celebration to remember, while tap dancer Maurice, the tap dancer, brought an extra dash of magic to the day.

Meanwhile, a host of special guests also joined the fray .

Rebecca, Julia, and Graeme from Embracing Age IW, alongside McCarthy Stone Foundation, brought warmth and joy to the local community.

A spokesperson for Orchard House said:

"The visitors were fantastic, crafting beautiful items for the side and spreading love to our cherished residents.

"A special shout-out for the lovely gifts and those cosy knitted blankets – your thoughtful touch truly made our day brighter!"
