The Brighstone Christmas Tree Festival organisers have announced that the 2023 event raised a total of more than £6,000, with donations to be made to selected charitable causes, across the Island.
Organisers Emily Waters and Diane Woodhouse — at the helm for the first time last year after taking over from Chris Goodman — were cock-a-hoop over the success of the event, saying:
"We express our immense gratitude for the overwhelming support received from the community leading up to, during, and following the festival, particularly amidst the ongoing cost of living crisis.
"Reviving the event after a hiatus during Covid presented significant challenges, but our first-year ambition was to learn and shape the festival's future.
"Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to welcoming you at this year's celebration!”
Save the Dates for the 2024 Festival!
Building on the success of the previous year, the 2024 festival will take place from Thursday December 5 to Sunday December 8.
For those eager to participate in the upcoming festival, bookings for Christmas trees and craft stalls will open after Easter in April.
