Boutique Bargains Up For Grabs At Mountbatten Gift Fair

The prestigious Mountbatten Gift Fair, featuring boutique stalls selling quality gifts for Christmas, will return on December 1 and 2.

The popular event, at Bembridge Sailing Club, which has raised nearly £100,000 for Mountbatten over the past six years, will be held on Saturday, 2 December.

More than 30 different mainland traders, offering an array of unique gifts, will be there.

“It is amazing to think this will be our seventh Mountbatten Gift Fair,” said Rosamond Poncia, chair of the Gift Fair Committee.

“Thanks to Wightlink providing free travel for our traders, we look forward to welcoming some wonderful stalls from the mainland, who will be selling fantastic gifts.

“We will also be running a raffle and lucky dip as well as selling cakes, gifts and Christmas wreaths for Mountbatten, so please do come along and get involved.

“Thank you to our sponsors, donors, stallholders, shoppers and the Bembridge Sailing Club for making it happen.”

Shoppers are invited to attend a special preview night between 5pm and 8pm on Friday, 1 December.

Entry costs £15 and includes wine and canapés.

Tickets can be purchased online.

The shopping event on Saturday, 2 December, takes place between 10am and 3pm.

Tickets cost £3 and are available on the door.

Ten percent of the profits from all gifts bought from stallholders will go to Mountbatten, while all money raised at Mountbatten stalls goes directly back to the charity.
