Ryde Carnival are delighted to announce that a wheelchair accessible viewing platform will be available at Eastern Gardens again this year for the Main Carnival and the Illuminated Carnival.
We encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity and partake in the Carnivals from the comfort of the platform.
Ryde Carnival is dedicated to fostering an atmosphere of inclusivity and the introduction of the accessible viewing platform emphasises this commitment.
This platform is one of our initiatives to ensure that everyone can participate and enjoy the carnivals, irrespective of mobility challenges.
Booking is essential.
Carnival details:
- Main Carnival – Thursday 29 August – Procession moves off at 6:30pm
- Illuminated Carnival – Saturday 31 August - Procession moves off at 8:30pm
Route - Esplanade, Dover Street, Park Road, Star Street, High Street, Union Street, Esplanade (south side). Disperse from George Street junction.
