Ballyrags Comedy Club Set For Ryde Return

Ballyrags Comedy Club returns to Ryde's Bar 74 this Thursday (16) with comedy icon Tony Law headlining what promises to be another memorable night at the Ryde venue.

Following a successful first gig the team behind Ballyrags have pulled out all the stops to bring even more national talent to Islanders doorsteps.

Canadian born, Tony is a staple of the British comedy scene and has appeared on various television shows, including "8 Out of 10 Cats," "Never Mind the Buzzcocks," and "Have I Got News for You."

He has also performed at numerous comedy festivals around the world, showcasing his quick wit and ability to turn mundane observations into hilarious anecdotes.

Co-Founder Luc Valvona said:

“I'm excited to have Tony appearing at Ballyrags.

"I've always loved his unpredictable, off the wall style and had the pleasure of seeing him live myself a couple of months ago and he brought the house down.

"I can assure anyone who is coming to see the show that you are in for a treat!”

Fellow Co-Founder, Toby Brown, will act as compere for the evening.

Ballyrags is held every third Thursday of the month at Bar 74 on Union Street.
