The Isle of Wight's Christmas charity drive-in cinema is back for 2022 — and it'll be at a new venue.
Festive favourites including Elf, the Grinch, Love Actually, Home Alone, Arthur Christmas and the Holiday are this year's films of choice .
The popular event, which raised money for Wessex Cancer Trust, will be held on December 3 and December 4 at The Needles Landmark Attraction.
The location is not the only new thing this year with films being shown on a bigger 9.2-meter by 5.3-meter LED screen.
The Isle of Wight community chose this years’ featured films through an online survey.
Laura Haytack, Regional Fundraising Manager, said:
“The Christmas Drive-In is a popular event amongst the island community and a great chance to cosy up with your loved ones, watch a classic Christmas film, enjoy some great food and raise money for Islanders affected by cancer.
"We’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone this year and with tickets already selling fast we’re confident it will be another sell-out success.”
This year the event is kindly sponsored by Ascensos, Cherry Godfrey, Glanvilles Damant Legal Services, Hose Rhodes Dickson, and WRS Systems and all money raised will help Wessex Cancer Trust support Islanders living with cancer.
