The Isle of Wight's Scallywags Fun Club has found a new home.
The popular children's club was facing closure at the end of this month (March), after revealing staying at its current site at Broadlea Primary School was no longer an option.
The club said everyone associated with it was 'devastated'.
But now, it's been revealed the show will go on, at new premises - Winchester House in Shanklin.
Scallywag's said:
"It is with absolute excitement we are staying local and moving just a mile down the road to the Wonderful Winchester House located on Sandown Road, which is the Lake end of Shanklin.
"We have been shown the most warmest welcome and Scallywags will have our own safe, secure large areas with a wonderful outside space with spectacular sea views and an adventurous woodland garden.
"Scallywags Holiday Club will be opening May Half Term 2023 (Tuesday 30th May to Friday 2nd June) and every school holiday from 8-6 for children aged 3-18 years.
"Regarding After School Club in the future to possibly open with local school pickups to be confirmed at a later date.
"We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your support and patience, believe us when we say our new home at Winchester House will be the Scallywags Fun Club you know and love but with so much more to offer."
