Three members of an Isle of Wight martial arts club have won British Championship medals in their sport.
Isle of Wight Panther Kickboxing Club secured two gold and one bronze at the World Association Kickboxing Organisation (WAKO) Great British National Championships.
Dominic Marsh and Aaron McHugh achieved gold in the under 67kg and under 75kg categories respectively, while Jake Delannoy received bronze in the over 91kg section.
Dominic said:
"Finally, the dedication and sacrifices we made have paid off.
"We are immensely proud to have two British champions and a bronze medallist from our club, in the most recognised amateur kickboxing tournament in the UK."
After invites, the team will attend GB squad training sessions and trials to qualify for the British team which can lead to the Senior European Championships in November, and considerations for the World Games and future Olympics.
IW Panther Kickboxing Club is located at TJ’s Gym in Lake.
