Shanklin Rotary Club Annual Fundraising Sale

The Rotary Club of Shanklin are holding their massive annual two- week recycling and fundraising sale at YMCA’s Winchester House. This annual ‘pop-up’ event is run by Shanklin Rotary with the help of over 40 local volunteers, and it’s been running for over 50 years! It raises money to help the local community and Island organisations as well as support to international disasters that need shelter boxes, emergency care and vaccinations.
It’s a great event for all the community to come together, donate items to recycle and raise funds for good causes.

Garden & Café Volunteer Recruitment Mornings at Northwood House
Wednesday 8th and Saturday 11th January at 11am
Northwood House and Park in Cowes is a great place for people with a few hours of spare time to volunteer for a good community cause. The popular charity-owned venue offers various volunteering opportunities from helping to make tea, car parking at events, to helping keep Northwood Park and gardens looking great for visitors. There’s plenty to do to help the charity continue its journey to give the venue a long-term, sustainable future, fully restored and in great shape for generations to come.
