Sponsored by WightFibre the Isle of Wight Radio Child of Wight Awards are back for 2023. It's the chance to celebrate the achievements of the Island’s most precious asset: its children.
Friday 8th September
Tapnell Farm Park
There are 11 awards that cover all aspects of a child's life — and to celebrate, Isle of Wight Radio will be taking them for an evening of fun and celebration at one of the Island’s top attractions: Tapnell Farm Park on September 8th.
All you have to do is nominate a child who you think deserves to be recognised for outstanding achievements. The nominees are invited along with their families to enjoy a night of celebration, fun and entertainment, along with local dignitaries and the award sponsors.
The fun will start when the children arrive. They will get an hour in the farm park before moving into the main events barn where they will enjoy dinner.
With entertainment throughout the whole event, the Island's children will be celebrated in an evening full of emotion and uplifting stories that reflect their amazing qualities.
WightFibre CEO, John Irvine said: “The Isle of Wight has a great community spirit and many incredible young people who deserve recognition. As a local company, WightFibre care about giving back to our Island community and sponsoring the Child of Wight Awards is a great way for us to do that. We look forward to hearing the stories of our inspirational young people and are glad to support Isle of Wight Radio in making these awards special.”
