C.E.S bathrooms and plumbing

Mark Willis, owner of Island-based C.E.S. Plumbing Services, has extended his business to offer customers a full and complete fit of all types of bathrooms and shower rooms, as well a kitchens.

Mark has recently been joined in the business by daughter Courtney, and has changed the company name to C.E.S. Bathrooms and Plumbing Services. The father and daughter team are able to offer customers expert workmanship at competitive prices.

Mark, an established plumber, started his business on the Island in 2008, and acquired the assistance of Courtney, who recently celebrated her 19th birthday, was between courses at the Isle of Wight College, when she decided instead to take up a plumbing apprenticeship.

Although C.E.S. still offer a thoroughly professional plumbing service right across the Isle of Wight, their focus has turned more to bathroom installations over the past 18 months. They pride themselves on being able to provide a comprehensive service, including making the best use of the space available, fitting units, painting and decorating, tiling and flooring (upon request), with only the best quality products used for any work that is carried out.

Mark also works alongside fully qualified electrician Eddie Potts, Gas Safe engineers and carpenter Simon Hirst, to ensure all work is of the highest standard, giving customers guaranteed satisfaction. He said: “If I go along to a property and realise there is a problem that I cannot fix, then I will advise on their best course of action, and leave without any charge.”

C.E.S. acquire bathroom stock for their customers from City Plumbing Supplies, who have the largest network of bathroom showrooms in the UK, and have branches on the Island in Newport and Ryde High Street, offering an extensive range of high quality suites and units.

Based in Freshwater, C.E.S. Bathrooms and Plumbing Services offer free, no obligation quotations to all potential customers. Mark explained: “If someone contacts us asking for a new bathroom, we help them choose the suite and units that will best suit their needs.

“We can then design the bathroom, and depending on availability, we can usually start the project within two weeks, with everything complete in around a further two weeks. All suites, units and accessories have a full manufacturer’s guarantee, and on top of that we give a 12-month guarantee on all the work we carry out.”

Mark is delighted to have Courtney (pictured below) on board to help take his business up to the next level. He said: “We work well as a team, and I’m very pleased she decided to become a part of the business.”

Although Mark and Courtney offer a bathroom and kitchen fitting service, they still undertake all other types of plumbing work. Mark explained: “We always try to save the customer expense by repairing rather than replacing. If we go into property and, for example, see a leaking tap we try to rectify the problem rather than just say a new one is required. Obviously there are times when a new one is needed, but a lot of the time repairs can be carried out instead.”
